How to Avoid the Freshman 15

Don't let this happen to you!
1. Take advantage of the gym on-campus: There are so many great things about the gym! I know, I might be biased because I love working out, but it's one of the greatest things to do on campus! The on-campus gym offers fun classes (where you can meet new people), personal trainers and dietitions, and all the equipment that you could ever need to stay fit!
2. DO NOT order food every night at 2 a.m: I don't care how drunk you are, or that you're up late studying, DO NOT order greasy food late at night (even though it might taste the best). If you're hungry late at night, try to eat an apple or a bag of popcorn, this will fill you up but won't put on the weight!
3. Walk to class: this is th easiest way to get a little bit of exercise in every day!
4. Be smart about alcohol consumption: Ever seen a beer belly? Not a pretty sight if you ask me.
5. Don't sleep all day
6. Join an intermural sport: Great way to meet people and stay active!
7. Make healthy food choices: Try to stay away from fast food and pizza! Also, always keep fruit and healthy snacks in your dorm :)
